Use your regular class pass for Beginning T'ai Chi Chih classes. 


T'ai Chi Chih is a series of 19 movements and 1 pose dedicated to activating, circulating, balancing and harmonizing the vital force energy that flows within us. All the movements are slow and gentle, making them accessible to anyone regardless of age or physical ability (as it can even be done seated down.) Benefits of regular practice include heightened energy, improved balance and flexibility, weight and blood pressure control, relaxation and stress relief, deepening awareness and creativity, longevity, serenity and peace of mind.

Chakra Balancing

Chakras are energy centers. There are seven primary chakras and they start at the base of our spine and extend all the way through the crown of our head. Some people think of chakras as wheels and if we are unbalanced, a wheel might get blocked. Each chakra is connected to certain bodily functions, so if energy gets blocked in one or more areas, there can be a variety of physical, emotional, and mental issues.


Join us on Saturday, Nov 9th from 10:30am - 12:00pm as we explore the chakras, the science behind chakras, their connection to your well-being, and ways to balance. We will practice yoga postures and sequences that have energetic influence on each chakra, allowing them to open, align, and harmonize.

Step out of the cycle of stress and make space for healing. Restorative Yoga encourages physical relaxation through a series of floor poses that support the body using bolsters, blankets, and other props. Come experience this practice, as we layer in breathing and meditation techniques to gently balance the energy in the body. Appropriate for all levels.
